Group Pragmatics, Emphasizing Speech and Language Development
Childhood In Progress provides children and parents with the tools they need in order to enhance interpersonal relationships with peers while meeting and maintaining speech and language goals for each individual child.
The relationship between speech, language, and socialization (social communication) is closely intertwined. Although some children find difficulty in just one of these areas, many children may need assistance with all three. The main ideas are broken down as follows:
With speech and language professionals having experience in both school and private settings we recognize and address the shortfalls of the current system of services.
There are a number of children who may benefit from speech and language services and may not qualify for summer services through their district or simply do not qualify for services at all.
We offer lower-cost services to fill those gaps. We don't want any child to miss the benefit of receiving services.
